This weekend was the big Erin Feis (Irish Fest) in Peoria on the Riverfront. We headed downtown to the fest with Rachel. Jimmy put Rachel in the Baby Bjorn and we walked and stopped at some of the tents and let her listen to music. She loved watching everything as we walked around. We had such a good time on Friday that we went ahead and upgraded to the weekend pass. Saturday, we went to Old Chicago for lunch and then to the fest for the afternoon. She was a hit with everyone with her hat! So many people just would stop and tell us how beautiful she is. :) Isn't that neat! For the evening, we just grilled out and didn't make it back downtown as it got too late. Sunday, we made it for the mass by the Bishop. Jimmy and I always enjoy going to this. As usual, Bishop Jenky did an amazing job. We decided to go to brunch at one of our favorite pizza places, Firehouse Pizza. Fortunately, we ran into Karen there and had an enjoyable visit with her.
